Description

The MK III has been developed to fit within a tight design envelope: large enough to provide a reasonable lift speed on an enjoyable slope for up to two people at a time while remaining small in size and light enough to be portable.  The MK III has a reasonable set-up and take-down time to allow for single day or half-day trips, the ability to be installed on hard-pack ice to bottomless powder, and the ability to ski on the left or right sides of the lift with the drive being located at either the top or the bottom of the slope.  Additionally, start/stop control is provided at both ends, and the overall lift length is adjustable in 50’ intervals, with the maximum length being limited by slope profile, cost, or other practical concerns.
